EJ in STEM

Undeniably, climate change and sustainability are not talked about enough in schools, let alone environmental justice. As many curriculums' STEM core classes focus on the mechanisms of their respective subjects, cross-disciplinary learning (ie. humanities and science) is uncommon. Though rare, our group has discussed how real-life problems and careers often include and require both. We have begun by putting together a slideshow combining history and science to better educate a high-school level audience. As our project with Brightline defense (see Sectors -> Collaboration) revolves around providing quality air filters for underserved populations, we decided to delve deep into the history of clean air in America- and how we are failing to provide it today.
